How long does a company registration take?
Depending on CIPC, once we have received all necessary documentation, it can be anything from 4 to 14 working days.
How long does it take to register for COIDA or Workmens compensation?
Unfortunately this is a lengthy process as the department of labour mostly has back logs. If you are fortunate it will take 30 working days. However this process can take up to 6 months to finalise. Please do this well in advance if you need a letter of good-standing.
How long does it take to get a letter of good-standing?
Letter of good-standing, refers to a letter from the Labour department, COIDA, that states that your accounts are up to date for workmens compensation. If you are registered, an form has to be submitted, on which WCA will then do an assessment. You will have to pay amounts outstanding and allow 72 hours for allocation, on which a Letter of good-standing will be issued.
When do I have to register for VAT?
Once your turnover(sales) exceeds R1 million, you are by law obliged to register for VAT. However you can register voluntary if you have a turnover R50 000.
How long does it take to change a director on a company?
After we have received all documents 4 -7 working days, depending on CIPC.
